Last week, Put-in-Bay School hosted a mock trial for the annual Murder Mystery. This year, detectives Michael Steidl and Brennan Jones arrested school custodian Patrick Green for the first degree homicide of senior Lily Schweitzer. Friday, March 21 Mr. Green appeared in court with defense lawyers Geoffrey Luecke, Lukas Kostura, Lear Cooks, and Aayden Kruszynski representing him. Mr. Green pleaded not guilty. At the end of the trial, the jury found Mr. Green guilty. It was revealed after the trial by Mr. Kowalski that Patrick was in fact the killer. The students had a great time while learning about our judicial system!
