Touch the Truck

On April 18, the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office brought some of its specialized vehicles and equipment to the PIBVD Fire Station for community members and school students to see. Put-in-Bay School students were able to get into the vehicles and ask questions. They had two patrol cars, an ATV, and an armored SWAT truck. They also brought a battering ram and a riot shield. These vehicles were then used in a school response training exercise.
