Mudhens Game

The entire Put-in-Bay School from grades kindergarten through 12 plus staff enjoyed a Mudhens game on Wednesday, May 8th. They rode on the Jet Express all the way there. Although the Mudhens lost the game, it was a fun and exciting day for all.

Art Class Field Trip

Art 2 and 3 are taking a field trip! On Wednesday, April 10 the students are going to the Botanical Gardens, the Cleveland Museum of Art, and the Cleveland Institute of Art.

Chess Club Tournament

Members of the Put-in-Bay School Chess Club will be competing in a chess tournament at the East Cleveland Public Library on Saturday, April 13. This tournament is against participants with a chess rating lower than 800, and lunch will be provided for participants.

Senior Class Trip

The seniors are gearing up to depart for their class trip tomorrow, March 28th. The group is excited to travel to Oahu and Big Island, Hawaii! They have a week planned for hikes, snorkeling, and learning experiences. Have fun, seniors!

Ottawa County Career Day

On Wednesday, October 4, the junior class went on a field trip to the Ottawa County Career Day. The event was located at the Ottawa County Fairgrounds, and hosted over 30 local businesses. The students had a lot of fun and learned about many different occupations.

Quizbowl Match at Seneca East

On Tuesday, September 12th the Put-in-Bay High School Quizbowl Team attended a match at Seneca East High School. The team won one of their three games and had lots of fun. Emil Michael led the team scoring 310 points throughout the three matches.

Touch the Truck

On April 18, the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office brought some of its specialized vehicles and equipment to the PIBVD Fire Station for community members and school students to see.
