The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department brought one of their K-9 dogs to Put-in-Bay School to introduce the students to Put-in-Bay’s new K-9 dog. A police officer who is the dog’s handler escorted it to the school and answered informative questions any students had about the K-9 dog and its duties, such as where it was from, how it was trained, and whether dogs imported from Germany were subject to import taxes.
