On May 15 the students and staff were treated to ice cream cake by the village police officers. Everyone enjoyed the delicious ice cream cake and interacting with the officers.

State Science Fair Results!!!
Congratulations to Kate Hubner and Emma Michael for getting superior scores on their State Science Fair projects. Kate’s project was “Which Paper Towel Brand is the Strongest.” Emmas’s project was “The Reduction in Bacterial Growth After Using a Cleanser.”

Holiday Concert
Students in grades K-8 performed in the Holiday Concert on Thursday evening, December 14. They put a lot of effort into the concert and did a great job.

Varsity and Junior Varsity Basketball Game
The varsity and junior varsity basketball teams has an away game against Horizon Science Academy on November 29. The junior varsity game is at 4:30 and the varsity game is at 5:45. The games will be live streamed on the Put-in-Bay Athletics YouTube page.

Environmental Club at the Holiday Bazaar
On November 16 at the Holiday Bazaar in the Town Hall, the Environmental Club will be selling t-shirts for $10 and stickers for $3 . There will be many other community booths selling things such as food, jewelry, and other knick knacks.

The 8 students in environmental club are cleaning up Route 357 on October 3. The environmental club adopted Route 357 three years ago and has done multiple clean-ups since then. They do a fantastic job at keeping it clean.

Blessing of the Fleet
The annual Blessing of the Fleet will be at the Jet Dock on May 9. Grades 4-7 will be singing at it under the direction of Ms. Pippert. This is an event that is looked forward to each year.
