Congresswoman Kaptur Floor Speech Honoring Put-In-Bay 7th Grader Caleb Kowalski Science Fair Victory
Caleb Kowalski is a 7th grader at Put-In-Bay Middle School. When he needed a project for his school science fair, he turned to nearby Lake Erie for inspiration. He went on to win the Northwest Ohio Science and Engineering Fair for his project focusing on combatting algal blooms.
Ohio State Testing
Students Kate Hubner and Emma Michael are entering the Computer Lab to begin their State of Ohio testing. The State of Ohio conducts end-of-year testing to assess student performance. These assessments measure mastery of content in specific high school and elementary courses.

The Spanish classes (Spanish I through IV) spread Christmas cheer by going caroling to the elementary grades. Awards Day 2023
Awards day took place on May 18, 2023 in three separate events. The Kindergarten graduation and awards ceremony was held at 9:15 a.m. Grades one through three awards were given at 10:30 a.m., and finally the seventh through twelfth graders received their awards at 2:15 p.m. Many family and community members attended.
