This past weekend our 2024 prom was held at the Put-in-Bay Yacht Club. This year’s theme was Mama Mia Disco and the evening was beautiful and clear.

Congresswoman Kaptur Floor Speech Honoring Put-In-Bay 7th Grader Caleb Kowalski Science Fair Victory
Caleb Kowalski is a 7th grader at Put-In-Bay Middle School. When he needed a project for his school science fair, he turned to nearby Lake Erie for inspiration. He went on to win the Northwest Ohio Science and Engineering Fair for his project focusing on combatting algal blooms.
Ohio State Testing
Students Kate Hubner and Emma Michael are entering the Computer Lab to begin their State of Ohio testing. The State of Ohio conducts end-of-year testing to assess student performance. These assessments measure mastery of content in specific high school and elementary courses.
Winter Sports Awards
On Tuesday evening, Coach Craig Schuffenecker held the Put-in-Bay School basketball awards. All players were thanked and appreciated. Congratulations to such a great season!
Spirit Week!!
This week at Put-in-Bay School, Student Council planned a different day for each day of the week to raise school spirit. All-Star Game!
Tonight the all-star panthers played against each other on teams blue and white. Team blue won with 8 points against white with 2 points.
Parent Teacher Conference
Parent teacher conferences are taking place tomorrow on Thursday, November 1. It is a chance for parent and teachers to meet with each other to talk about how the school year is going.
Volleyball Senior Day!
Monday October 2nd, was the second to last home game for the volleyball team. The Panthers played against NW Ohio Academy, losing the first set 22-25, and winning the last three sets 25-16, 25-14, and 26-24. Picture Day!
Picture day was held in the morning, all of the students looked sharp!! Our yearbook staff did a wonderful job at maintaining the process of getting everyone’s pictures. And a special thanks to Mr. Moll the photographer who comes over on the ferry and takes our pictures. He did a great job!

On Wednesday, May 10 across from the Put-in-Bay Airport, PE teacher Mr. Danes is holding an out door obstacle race. ALL grades are allowed to sign up! There will be different times for all age groups to attend.
