Students in grade K-12 went on the tour train, the train took us around the island. Then we ended up at Perry’s Cave and Family fun Center where we had a fun filled afternoon

First Day of School
2026 Prom
This year’s prom was held on Friday, April 23 at the Goat. Students enjoyed an evening of music and dancing. This year’s theme was “At the Bayou.”
Delicious Cuisine Day Treats

Cuisine Day
Spanish high school students each prepared and served their own Spanish dish to pass out on April 16th. All students and faculty members were treated to a plate of authentic Spanish food to enjoy. Cuisine Day was a great success, and the whole school had a great time.
Government Trip to Federal Courthouse
Mr. Shuffenecker took his government class on a trip to the federal courthouse. The class was given a complete tour of the courthouse and even got to watch a plea deal take place. The class got to eat pizza with the judge and learned plenty about the legal system.
Washington, D.C. Trip
The high school traveled to Washington, D.C. on March 29, 2026. There, everybody toured the city with three other schools. All of the classes visited important landmarks such as the Lincoln Memorial and the Arlington National Cemetery as well as the US Capitol. The students and teachers returned to the island on April first.
Murder Mystery
Mr. Kowalski set up and hosted a murder mystery for all students, 7-12, to participate in. The defense team of Caleb Kowalski, Dominik Kruzynski, Aayden Kruzynski, and Lear Cooks persuaded the jury to give Mrs. Cerny an innocent verdict. The murder mystery was a great success.
