Blessing of the Fleet took place on Tuesday, May 14th. Grades 4 through 8 performed at the event. The Island boats were blessed to ensure a safe season.

Spanish Field Trip
Mudhens Game
The entire Put-in-Bay School from grades kindergarten through 12 plus staff enjoyed a Mudhens game on Wednesday, May 8th. They rode on the Jet Express all the way there. Although the Mudhens lost the game, it was a fun and exciting day for all.
Ice Cream with the Cops
On May 15 the students and staff were treated to ice cream cake by the village police officers. Everyone enjoyed the delicious ice cream cake and interacting with the officers.
Teacher Appreciation Week Breakfast Provided by Browns Backers
The Browns Backers went above and beyond to show their appreciation to the teachers and staff of Put-in-Bay School during Teacher Appreciation Week. Junior Class Fundraiser
On Wednesday, April 24, the class of 2024 had a Cameo Pizza fundraiser to earn funds for the senior class trip. Thanks to the community the class raised a large sum to go towards their trip. Thank you to those who contributed!
Drug Task Force Assembly
Friday 8th period Officer Trevor Johnson from The Ottawa County Drug Task Force came to our school to talk to the student body about the dangers of drugs. His presentation was interactive and the student learned a lot.
Here We Go Again!
This past weekend our 2024 prom was held at the Put-in-Bay Yacht Club. This year’s theme was Mama Mia Disco and the evening was beautiful and clear.
Cooper’s Woods Fun Walk
On Monday, April 22, Earth Day, students participated in a Fun Walk through Cooper’s Woods with Mrs. Kowalski after school. The walk was a on a mile long trail in the woods, and participants pulled invasive garlic mustard plants along the way. Happy Earth Week!
Cuisine Day
On April 24, Cuisine Day was held. Students in Spanish I, II, III, and IV classes cooked and prepared, and served culinary dishes from Spanish-speaking countries. The dishes that they served included tacos, quesadillas, enchiladas, albóndigas (meatballs), black beans & rice, Spanish rice, Spanish sweet rice, chips and salsa, and guacamole.
