Veteran’s Day
On November 11th there was an assembly in the school auditorium to honor our local veterans!
Quiz bowl vs Community
On Thursday, November 14, the Put-in-Bay Quiz Bowl team competed against the community in a Brain Games style match. Both teams had lots of fun answering questions. The Quiz Bowl team won with a score of 240-220.
Veterans Day Speeches
Put-in-Bay students gave speeches to honor the veterans at the Veterans Day Program on Monday, November 15.
Yellow Family Luncheon
The Yellow Family Stargazers had a family lunch today in the mulitpurpose room. Everyone had a blast and got to do a scavenger hunt outside. It was a nice, fun time spent together.

History on Halloween
History on Halloween is an annual event/assignment on October 31 for grades 7-12. Based on their grade, students have different guidelines for which person in history they can dress up as. Students get graded for staying dressed up for their chosen person throughout the whole. Everyone looks forward to History on Halloween!
Basketball Has Started!
The first day for the 2024-2025 basketball season was October 28th. Most of the high school students woke up early and arrived at the Put-in-Bay School gym for morning madness. There, the players met the new junior high basketball coach, Katie Mullens. As of now, the players have only had two practices, but every player has performed the best they can.
Red Ribbion Week–Neon Day
Monday, students dressed in neon or sunglasses to symbolize a bright future without drugs.
Cross Country at Huron!
The Cross Country team ran fast and hard at Huron’s meet last Saturday. The high school boys ran at 9:30 a.m, the high school girls at 10:10 a.m, and the middle school boys at 11:30 a.m. All the runners tried their hardest and Ava Heineman had a personal record of 23:14. Brennan Jones had a personal record of 19:11. Caleb also had a personal record.
Bay Day 2024
Bay Day is a fundraiser and fun day full of activities in honor of Scott Pugh. It is on October 26, 2024, from 12-4 p.m. It is located in the empty field by the Miller Ferry. They are still looking for volunteers if you need Panther Pride hours, you can sign up on the board across from Mrs. Randi’s office.
